Coir Mesh Rolls are a very durable, natural anti-erosion barrier. Considerably stronger than jute, Coir products are used in areas subject to high wind and rainfall conditions. Its open weave does not suppress weeds but is excellent at holding soil together whilst seeding is establishing; the fibre ropes help protect the seeds and soil particles from being washed away. The strand flexibility allows it to be placed around existing small vegetation. Often used for rehabilitation of environments such as creeks, wetlands, and flood mitigation zones.
